Professional Staff of Goldstein Dermatology

Dr. Goldstein was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University. He attended Boston University School of Medicine, and was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree in May 1972. Dr. Goldstein interned at Herrick Hospital in Berkeley California and then practiced Emergency Medicine in California and Massachusetts for the next four years.

In 1977, Dr. Goldstein began his Dermatology training at Boston Medical Center. In his third year of residency, he was appointed Chief Resident. He was also actively involved in acne research, under the tutelage of two world-renowned experts in the field of acne. After completion of training, Dr. Goldstein continued his research into the pathogenesis and treatment of severe acne, and was actively involved in Phase 2 studies of (Isotretinoin) Accutane. He was senior author of major scientific papers detailing the results of a multicenter trial of the drug prior to FDA approval. He also gave several presentations to the Society of Investigative Dermatology, as well as the American Academy of Dermatology also detailing his Accutane research.

In 1981, Dr. Goldstein began the private practice of Dermatology in Natick, Massachusetts, a suburb west of Boston. He has remained in Natick since then. Dr. Goldstein has an exteremly busy practice, delivering routine dermatological care, as well as offering cutting edge cosmetic procedures. Dr. Goldstein is known locally and nationally as a leader in usage of new procedures and treatments. He has a busy cosmetic practice, offering laser treatments for scar revision, acne treatment, wrinkle reduction, and treatment of spider veins. He is a co-founder of G and R Pharmaceuticals, which developed a novel anti-fungal product.

Dr. Goldstein serves the legal profession as an expert witness. He is one of the main dermatology experts used by Covery’s (malpractice Insurance Carrier for Massachusetts) in defense of legal claims against dermatologists. He has successfully testified in Superior Court on behalf of defense counsel on numerous occasions.

Emily graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Movement Science. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and her Doctor in Nursing Practice degree, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Boston College, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Pracitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her clinical interests are inflammatory skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis, skin cancer screenings, and general skincare health. Outside of work, she enjoys planting flowering shrubs and spring bulbs in her garden as well as exploring local restaurants and stores. 

Christina Cange, FNP-C, is a dermatology nurse practitioner. She specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, performing skin biopsies and excisions, and providing expert care for conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, and skin cancers.

Christina earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2024, following a strong foundation in both nursing and biology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curry College, where she was a Dean’s List student and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning membership in Alpha Lambda Delta and TriBeta Honor Society.

Her clinical experience spans dermatology, family medicine, endoscopy recovery, and COVID-19 care, with roles at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Atrius Health, Codman Square Health Center, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, and Carney Hospital. Her background in both primary care and specialized dermatology allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Beyond her professional expertise, Christina is a foodie who loves exploring new restaurants. She is passionate about wellness, staying active, and enjoying time with her loved ones.

Meghan Murphy is a Masters of Science prepared Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in aesthetic medicine. Her expertise regarding laser and energy based devices allows her to deliver effective patient treatments tailored to each patient’s unique skin care needs and goals.

Meghan’s prior professional career experience entails working in clinical research, overseeing and performing clinical research trials using lasers, IPLs, microneedling and RF microneedling devices and body shaping systems. She is a renowned Laser Clinical Educator and still acts as a clinical consultant for a well known laser and energy based device manufacturer.

Through her vast experience in clinical trials and working alongside distinguished aesthetic medicine industry leaders, Meghan is able to create customized treatment plans for each patient that are research driven with evidence based results. She thoroughly cares for each patient and believes that each of her patients deserve the best.

After completing her training at Spa Tech Institute, Ava became a licensed aesthetician with a passion for helping others achieve glowing, healthy skin and boosting their confidence. She is committed to creating personalized skincare routines and treatment plans that highlight each client’s natural beauty. Ava offers a variety of facial and laser treatments, tailored to meet individual needs and ensure the most effective results.
